Dr. Ray Sheppard Jr. received his medical degree from the University of Alabama (UAB) in Birmingham and completed his surgical training at the DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor School of Medicine in Houston. He has been recognized for his teaching and leadership, and continues as an associate professor for the Huntsville campus of the UAB Medical School.

With extensive training, Dr. Sheppard handles complex surgical problems and routine general surgical cases, maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
